Luxury Korean hair-care line British M. has collaborated with editorial and runway stylist Peter Gray to release the Glass photoshoot, a range of glass-sheened styles aimed at celebrating indivuality, movement, and diversity.
“They’re trans-seasonal,” Gray says. “They reflect the reflective light, smoothness, and nuanced textural clarity of each look. Shaggy, boho-sleek, even beachwaved or curly, now it’s all about the flawless glass condition of hair itself and a healthy scalp.
“The days of dictating a specific style have evolved,” Gray adds. “It’s now styling ease, product performance, and flexibility. We see runway looks that are diverse and creative, the newest salon looks are as well. Everything has shifted — globally. It’s glass hair that gives this newness."
Process & Products
“To start, I used British M Kombucha Shampoo, which leaves hair hydrated and movable without weight, and to support the scalp," Gray says. "This was followed by nourishing Kombucha Mask.
“Next, I smooth-brushed the hair for styling with the British M Flex Gentle Brush to untangle hair and massage the scalp.
“For light, movable layers and fresh, ‘alive’ volume I used British M Hydrate Hair Butter with Shea Butter and plant oils, then British M Sea Salt Spray using the Hot Curling Ceramic Brush and styled a rich, nourished and kinetic look.
“Once finished, I sprayed on the water-based 10-botanical Hard Tailor Spray for flexible, touchable hold and then the iconic British M Annatto Hair Oil to add the very natural-looking, quickly absorbed translucent glass finish,” Gray says.
