CONTEST FINALISTS

Alessandro Salon, St. Catharines, Ontario, CA.

Salon Size: 4 Chairs

Since 1978, Alessandro has been a well-loved salon with a team that gives back to the community through charity work and support for clients. With a color bar as old as the business, salon owner Rachel Fortino sees winning this competition as a reward for the team. “It’s been at the top of the list of things to redo, but it’s also one of the most expensive,” she says.

Arizona Hair Co., Queen Creek, AZ.

Salon Size: 10 Chairs

Also a vintage model (it opened in 1978), this Queen Creek, AZ salon has more stylists than chairs and is in need of serious TLC. Says owner Michelle Pachter: “The team is crammed into this tiny space, trying to mix colors all day long. I thought it would be really fantastic if I could reward their hard work with this beautiful new color bar and expand the space a little bit.”

Salon Fusion, Inver Grove Heights, MN.

Salon Size: 12 Chairs

“Our color bar area is very basic,” says owner Alisha Helset. “When we moved into the space, we just used what was already there, as a new color bar wasn’t in the budget. It’s very dated and needs a refresh! Somewhere super nice and organized for the team to mix color would be so good for them and the business.”

Vish, whose salon scales and software are aimed at reducing color waste, is partnering with salon equipment and furniture supplier Minerva Beauty for the giveaway.

It includes a custom rebuild with new shelving, cabinets, countertops, and more; a hair color inventory restock (valued at $5K) and the complete Vish color system with iPad, scales, stands, mixing mats, setup, on-site team training, and 1:1 coaching.
