CHI: Ionic Permanent Shine Hair Color (New) and Tone & Gloss Demi-Permanent Hair Toner Collection (New)
CHI's two new permanent and demi-permanent color collections have arrived. The brand's Ionic Permanent Shine Hair Color is a versatile liquid color line featuring 100 intermixable, ammonia- and PPD-free colors, while its Tone & Gloss Demi-Permanent Hair Toner Collection is formulated to help colorists fine-tune the shades on pre-lightened hair.
Ionic Permanent Shine formulas are true to tone, offering consistent results. The line is created with CHI's Hue Definition Technology: a complex of aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, and silk protein to minimize damage and to replenish and lock in moisture.
Tone & Gloss cream toners come in a 22-shade range crafted to fulfill a broad spectrum of purposes in 20 minutes, including neutralizing unwanted undertones, glossing, enhancing, introducing tones, and refreshing color.
DANGER JONES: Gloss Toners with Bonder (New)
Danger Jones' new acidic, zero-lift gloss toners have a conditioning formula with a creamy consistency for easy application and control. Available in 56 pigmented shades, they process in 10 minutes or less.
The gloss toner formulas contain vegan keratin bonders to protect and strengthen the hair and reduce breakage, along with chia oil for a silky feel and to prevent color fading, plus apple cider vinegar for shine.
PRAVANA: ChromaSilk Platinum Lights Collection (New)
PRAVANA has expanded its ChromaSilk Platinum Toner line with a Platinum Lights Collection designed especially for level 9+ blondes. The new collection debuts with three demi-permanent shades — Platinum Gold, Platinum Blush, and Platinum Spice. They can be mixed with each other or with PRAVANA’s ChromaSilk Express Tones to achieve custom results.
Platinum Toners fully tone in 5 minutes, delivering custom platinum shades without having to mix with Clear and deposit more pigment. They last up to 15 shampoos.
HAIR EXTENSIONS
BELLAMI: Ponytail Collection by Andrew Fitzsimons (New) and BELLAMI Professional x Eric Vaughn Extensions (Updated)
The global hair extensions brand is touting two high-profile partnerships this fall: with celebrity stylist Andrew Fitzsimons on a ready-to-wear ponytail collection, and 10 new extensions shades with longtime collaborator, salon owner, educator, and influencer Eric Vaughn.
The Andrew Fitzsimons ponytails feature an inside comb to secure the ponytail for maximum comfort without drooping, and works well with styling products and hot tools. The collection includes 23 shades in 20” and 24” lengths.
New additions to the BELLAMI Professional x Eric Vaughn Extensions are 10 multi-dimensional shades, each with 3-4 blended tones created by Vaughn and available in Flex Weft, Tape-In, and K-Tips.
COVET & MANE: Textures Extensions (Updated)
Covet & Mane have added new shades to their Textures collection. L-R: Grace Bay, honey blonde with caramel highlights; Coco Beach, golden blonde; Belle Mare, neutral light blonde; and Principe, a rich auburn. All are available in 20" and 26" Textured Wavy (shown) and Textured Curly made from Indian Temple hair.
The brand's Textured wefts have a slight matte finish to better blend with natural textured hair, and can be heat straightened — they return to their original curl patterns after washing.
HAIRTALK: Weft Collection (Updated) & Advanced Bond-Preserving Lightening Technology (New)
Hairtalk’s updated weft extensions are now crafted from 100 percent virgin Remy human hair, with a double-drawn design for uniform distribution and an intact and sealed cuticle for enhanced durability. The brand’s weft collection includes Single Machine Wefts and Single/ Double Hand-Tied Wefts in 36 shades.
Hairtalk has also announced improvements to its extension color processes with Advanced Bond-Preserving Lightening Technology, which features a slow and gentle lifting process to preserve disulfide bonds and maintain hair strength and structure.
It is used on all the brand’s extensions: weft, tape-in, and keratin bond.
SALON SERVICES
K18: K18REPAIR Service
This two-step leave-in salon treatment consists of a Pro Mist and Pro Mask that rebuilds broken keratin chains and strengthens hair, and was created to be used before every salon service, particularly chemical treatments.
It’s formulated with the brand’s patented K18PEPTIDE technology to provide biocompatible hair repair from bleach, color, chemical services, and heat.
PURE BRAZILIAN: Express Blowout (New)
When there’s no time for a full keratin treatment, this express service gets the job done through 4-8 shampoos. The Express Blowout is formulated with the same ingredients as the brand’s original in-salon Reconstructor Treatment (a proprietary keratin, açai, and cocoa seed butter base) but takes half the time to apply.
The Stylist Express Blowout Kit yields up to 80 services and includes one 13.5-oz. Pure Brazilian Anti-Residue Shampoo, one 6.78-oz. Step 2 Pure Brazilian Express Blowout Smoothing Solution, and 10 5-oz. sample packettes of Pure Brazilian Anti-Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner.
