While fashion shows and hair shows were once two separate entities, L’Oréal Professionnel combined the two to create something bigger and better for both stylists and consumers: Hair Fashion Night.
Hair Fashion Night celebrates the artisanship of some of the best professional stylists in the U.S. and encourages customers to seek the salon professional in their local areas.

“The goal of Hair Fashion Night is to encourage and inspire customers to try new styles and reignite women’s desires to go to salons,” says Michelle Ryan, L’Oréal Professionnel Senior Vice President of Marketing, “Through these motives, we hope women who currently don’t go to salons, or who don’t go recurrently, will see the value in seeking out the salon professional.”

This year, Hair Fashion Night took the world by storm on June 15th with 70 participating salons. Salons in top markets like Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Charleston, alongside those in Canada, France, Great Britain, Ireland and many other countries hosted the event and opened their doors to potential clients looking for a chic hairstyle.
“I had a lot of requests for 'next day' hair with a soft wave, so the L’Oréal Professionnel TECNI.ART Next Day Hair texture spray really came in handy,” says Naté Bova, hairstylist at Warren Tricomi Salon in New York City. “I also did some great messy ponytails. When I had people with newer bangs, I blew them back with height. It looked great with the ponytails.”

Consumers weren’t the only ones relishing in the evening’s events. “We love opening our doors for events like this,” says Edward Tricomi, Co-Founder of Warren Tricomi Salon. “It’s times like these that we enjoy the most because we’re able to push the boundaries of styles for our clients that they normally wouldn’t have asked for during a regular appointment.”

While L’Oréal Professionnel’s goal was to work with their top 100 salons this year, General Manager Lisa Morris says the team hopes to incorporate all L’Oréal salons in next year’s worldwide event.
