On Sunday evening, June 25, stylists, influencers and judges all gathered at the prestigious Cipriani Wall Street in New York City for L’Oréal Professionnel's inaugural U.S. Color & Style Trophy. Internationally present since 1954, Color & Style Trophy brings together top talent in the industry comprised of teams including: a colorist, stylist, designer, makeup artist, wardrobe stylist and L’Oréal Professionnel model.
Following a live competition between 25 salon team finalists, winners across six categories, including the Color & Style Award, were celebrated and recognized by several big-name hairstylists in the business including emcee and celebrity hairdresser Ted Gibson (@tedgibson). Industry judges, including Shelley Gregory (@shelleygregoryhair), Jo Blackwell Preston (@blackwelljo) and Anh Co Tran (@anhcotran), among many other esteemed hairstylists, chose the following salon teams out of 250 submissions as the top winners across several categories. The winner of the Color & Style Award will now represent the U.S. and compete at the global Color & Style Finals in Seville, Spain in the fall.
