Stephen Szabo, owner of his eponymous salon and spa in McMurray, PA, offers optional 10-minute and one-hour reflexology sessions with pedicure services. “We realize the importance of having a point of difference, and giving more value to the services that we perform,” says Szabo, who just sent his nail techs to The Edgar Cayce Institute in Virginia Beach, VA, to learn reflexology. “We have differentiated our salon and spa from others by integrating holistic therapies into more common spa treatments to elevate the client experience.” Olive and June Salon in Beverly Hills offers an extensive service menu that includes everything from nail shaping and paraffin treatments to massages and unique nail art. “We really try to cater to the client in a very special way,” says owner Sarah Gibson Tuttle. “We offer so many extras so that everyone can find exactly what they’re looking for—a scrub one day, wild nail art another—you never know, so we have it all."
