Here's how the hairstylists for Golden Globe winner Elizabeth Debicki ("The Crown") and nominee Selena Gomez ("Only Murders In The Building") achieved their red-carpet looks for the 81st annual Golden Globes.
Elizabeth Debicki's Sleek Style
Celebrity stylist DJ Quintero paired Debicki's silver Dior Haute Couture gown with long, pin-straight locks using Living Proof wetcare products.
- On clean hair, DJ used Perfect hair Day Heat Styling Spray and frizz Vanishing Oil on the ends of the hair to make sure it was smooth and protected.
- He then added a few face-framing pieces, using the Style Lab Flex Hairspray at the root for some extra grip.
- After flat ironing the hair for a sleek look, DJ added some more Vanishing Oil to the ends and Flex Hairspray to tame any fly-aways.
Selena Gomez' High Bun
The singer/ actress stunned on the red carpet in a red Giorgio Armani dress topped with a wispy high bun, created by stylist Marissa Marino with Living Proof wetcare products and Dyson tools.
- First she applied Living Proof Clarifying Detox Shampoo for a deep cleanse, following up with frizz Intense Moisture Mask for optimal shine.
- After towel drying, Marissa applied Living Proof Restore Perfecting Spray and blow-dried with the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer Professional Edition.
- To get Selena’s locks super sleek, she smoothed with the Dyson Corrale hair styler straightener.
- To create the style, Marissa sectioned out the front pieces and clipped away, then pulled the hair up in three sections, all meeting at the center crown of Selena’s head.
- Leaving a center part, Marissa then combed the front pieces into a ponytail and sprayed with Living Proof ‘s Style Lab Control Hairspray to secure all-night hold.
- Lastly, she twisted up the ponytail into a high bun leaving out a few tousled ends for the final look.
