For those who want to achieve that "Wednesday" braid from the current Netflix show of the same name, Bumble and bumble has released this "how-to.
Textured crown braid
For the skilled braiders, try a braided updo, like this one.
- Start your braid right above the arch of your eyebrow. This will make sure your braid isn’t too small and will maintain volume.
- Spray Bumble & bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer all over the hair to provide a little slip and detangling as you braid around the head.
- On the front hairline, only grab hair from the back (crown) so the braid sits closer to the front hairline
- Once you get to the top of the ear, start grabbing sections from both sides of the braid to keep each section full
- Keep working around the head, rotating hands for comfort.
- Once you get to the ends, secure with an elastic or hair tie
- Starting at the end of the braid, pull apart the braid lightly to bring out more texture and volume to the braid.
- Pin on top of the hair line section with bobby pins until secure.
- For extra hydration and protection, mist more primer to the braid
**Tip: For those with thinner hair, spray the Thickening Dryspun Texture Spray to create volume and hold and ensure the braid stays put while you rock out with all your crazy dance moves.
The role of Wednesday Addams in the show is played by Jenna Ortega, who can be found on Instagram at @jennaortega.
