Saucy, boudoir-style shots underscore the playfulness of the latest TIGI collection, which highlights the benefits of new Age Denied hair color. “This is a new range of rejuvenating permanent haircolor,” says Christel Lundqvist, Global Creative Technical Director, who provided model Lisa’s seductive blonde hues. “It provides up to 100 percent coverage on over 50 percent non-pigmented hair. The color results are natural looking, multi-tonal with a fantastic high-shine quality.” Formulated with the Age Denied Rejuvenating Complex, which has ingredients known to help combat the signs of aging hair, Age Denied means women of all ages can feel confident and sexy, no matter how much gray they have.
Two different coloring techniques were created for the shoot, which was photographed by none other than Anthony Mascolo, TIGI Founder and International Artistic Director. Contour Shading, as seen on brunette Liza, uses a free-hand painting technique to soften the edges and frame the face. “I was really inspired by the classic ’60s cinematic woman,” says Warren Boodaghians, TIGI European Technical Academy Director. “I wanted to give the look a natural, youthful-looking color result.”
Lisa, a natural level 6 blonde, has 50 percent non-pigmented hair and received the Contour Lights coloring technique.
Blonde Lisa received the Contour Lights technique, which offers a sexy, face-framing placement, says Lundqvist, who did the color. “For Lisa’s color, I was very much inspired by the early ’80s, and I wanted a color palette that was very soft, feminine and had a multi-tonal effect,” she says. “This does not have to be an all-over color, but the hair will appear brighter using a highlighting color and a color to tone unwanted color.”
Natural-looking color. Soft, sexy styling. Head-turning looks. Don’t know about you, but we’re ready to #denyeverything.
