Every student likes to make a good first impression. That’s why Audrey went to see Jim Robeson, (@thecolorreligion) Alfaparf Milano Social Media Ambassador—she wanted to kick up her blonde and impress her new classmates.
The Client: Audrey, a young woman headed back to school, felt “frumpy” and “unnoticed.” “She wanted a little bling in her hair,” says Robeson.
The Goal: “Audrey had an ombre type of color, was tired of it and wanted more emphasis brought through the color and on top,” says Robeson. “And, it had to be done in one session, so she could go back to school in time.”
The Color: To achieve a bolder blonde color, Robeson used Alfaparf Supermeches+ with 30 Oxido Developer. “Audrey has had issues in the past with her hair breaking or drying out at previous salons. I made sure to use Alfaparf Bond Rebuilder, which is mixed into the lightner to make sure that the hair stays healthy and resilient. In between her highlights we used Alfaparf Colorwear 7.21 to give the low dimension that she was wanting. And, we finished her hair with Alfaparf Harmonizers 0.13 and Pigments VA to tone to the beautiful pastel shade,” says Robeson.
The Cut: Audrey wanted minimal cut so that she could show off the color and her now longer hair.
The Reaction: “Talk about someone being over joyed,” says Robeson. “Her appearance was brighter and she felt new again. She just kept saying ‘OMG, I can’t believe you were able to do this in one service!’”
