Tracey Devine, Global Ambassador for Affinage Salon Professional, was inspired by what she saw on the runway to create a new collection that focuses on strong shapes with plenty of texture that still allow the hair to move freely.
This is a look that screams bespoke, customized, individual. First, Devine used a medium-barrel curling iron to set the hair. To style, she ruffled the hair with her fingers and pinned it up to create a soft, Mohawk shape. She used a Moonlighting technique to color the hair so that light areas would reflect off a dark base. Base: Infiniti 4.036 Café Noir (20gm) and Infiniti 4.117 Anthracite (20gm) with Converter (80gm); Moonlight Sections: The “moonlight” sections were pre-lightened using Lite Bleach Lightener with Affinage 10-volume Crème Developer; Hot shotz: Red Chili (10 gm) + Burnt Copper (5gm) + Hot Chocolate (5 gm) was applied to towel dried hair at the basin and processed for 10 minutes.

Once the hair was cool, the foil was removed and hair was brushed out for a full effect. A full head of highlights was applied, alternating a high-lift and a lightener formula.
