This year’s Premiere Orlando came back bigger and better than ever, with more than 600 classes offered, 50 hands-on workshops, 800-plus exhibiting companies and the largest number of the beauty industry’s social media influencers in one location. Held at the Orange County Convention Center from June 3-5, upwards of 58,600 attendees were presented with three days of nonstop stage presentations, competitions, education and industry products and trends.

The industry’s leading manufacturers featured new and innovative beauty products on the buzzing show floor. Brands like BaBylissPRO, Moroccanoil, Paul Mitchell, Aquage, Pai Shau, Rusk, Repêchage, Essie, Redken, Farouk Systems, Brazilian Blowout, All-Nutrient and ARROJO unveiled their latest and greatest right from the booth.

Mainstage
The biggest names in hair took to the Mainstage, showcasing new trends and sharing techniques. Ted Gibson presented cutting, styling and color techniques to give stylists inspiration as both influencers and artists while Nick Arrojo showed off his new trends like ‘square-lighting’ and ‘root-wrapping.’ Sam Villa and the Redken Design & Finish Team taught new approaches to modern day haircuts and finishing. And Tracey Hughes returned as the International Headliner after her inaugural appearance last year.

Hair Color Stage
The industry’s color experts turned it up and turned it out on the Hair Color Stage. Chrystofer Benson and Lenny Strand of Matrix walked the audience through color melting, color placement and formulation. Beth Minardi opened herself up to all the audience questions via the roving microphone throughout her presentation. And the LxPxJ team of Larisa Love, Phil Ring and Jacob shared hand-painting color techniques, cutting methods and fantasy color creations.
