"Succession" actress Sarah Snook picked up her 2024 Golden Globe for Best Lead Actress in a Television Drama in a black lace Prabal Gurung gown paired with a piecey half-up half-down hairstyle.
Celebrity stylist Kylee Heath said Snook's tousled hair was inspired by the whimsical dress. “We wanted to make sure the hair wasn’t too structured. We thought this was the perfect pairing—a little fun and also classic.”
Working with Phyto products, Heath started with damp hair and sprayed PhytoVolume Volumizing Blow Dry Spray to the roots. She then applied Phyto Pro Style Volume Mousse throughout and brushed the hair to disperse the product evenly, and followed it with a round-brush blow dry to work some volume into the hair.
Once the hair was dry, Heath applied Phyto Pro Style Texturizing Powder to the roots. To achieve a little height at the crown she gave it a little tease.
Then she added a loose wave to the hair using a 1-inch iron, alternating the direction of the wave slightly. Next she rubbed a small amount of Phyto Pro Style Shine Wax into her hands and softly broke up the waves and used it to smooth out some of the ends making it slightly piecey.
She then pulled some hair back and pinned it with a Jennifer Behr bow, and finished the look with the Phyto Pro Style Laque Soie hairspray.
