Back in the '90s, Geri Halliwell, better known as Ginger Spice, was the it girl. Not only was Halliwell a major pop star and style icon, but girls everywhere wanted to imitate her luscious red locks. Nearly 30 years later, not much has changed, and red hair is still very much on our radar. Ironically enough, a ginger spice haircolor came to the forefront this year as one of the biggest trends. A little less intense than Halliwell's fire-red locks, the color combines the perfect amount of auburn, brunette and subtle red tones.
Allyson Gregory (@allyson_m_), a hairpainting specialist in Poughkeepsie, New York, created her own version of ginger spice on a client with three-month old balayage.
