Dressed in her Renaissance World Tour black hoodie and with minimal makeup, Beyoncé let the cameras into the salon to film her Sunday wash day featuring products from her Cécred hair-care line.
The superstar made faces and mugged for the camera while occasionally helping stylist Nakia Rachon Collins apply products to her scalp and hair. The lineup: Clarifying Shampoo & Scalp Scrub, Hydrating Shampoo, and Hydrating Conditioner, which she let sit for deep conditioning under a dryer while she had her nails done.
The resulting video, posted to Instagram, featured Beyoncé’s voiceover narration of her routine accompanied by her song “Sweet Honey Buckiin.” She stressed the importance of sectioning her hair for each step of the process to avoid tangling and evenly distribute the products.
After blowing her hair straight, Beyoncé applied Moisture Sealing Lotion to her own locks and then braided it up in a topknot before popping on Celine Triomphe sunglasses and going on with her day.
“She ain’t perfect, but she’s squeaky clean,” she concluded.
