Tricoci University of Beauty Culture is ringing in its 20th anniversary by offering $3,000 scholarships to 20 students, the cosmetology school franchise has announced.
Interested candidates can apply for the TUBC Changing Lives scholarships here through Feb. 29.
Industry leader Mario Tricoci founded his first eponymous cosmetology school in Chicago in 2004. Since then, the franchise has grown to 14 locations in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
“I'm deeply proud of the achievements of the Tricoci University of Beauty Culture community over the past two decades,” says Tricoci, who appeared in a video celebrating the institution's milestone anniversary.
“I'm equally grateful for the opportunity to share the knowledge I've accumulated over the past few decades with the next generation of beauty professionals."
Besides the $60K in TUBC Changing Lives scholarships, Tricoci also offers $3500 scholarships to high-school students interested in careers in cosmetology. The upcoming deadline for those applications is March 1.
"Cultivating the next generation of beauty professionals is at the heart of Tricoci University's mission,” says company CEO Nate Swanson. “We are proud to offer these scholarships to help our aspiring beauty professionals pursue their passions into the career of their dreams."
Tricoci's Bridgeview, IL campus was named the 2023 ‘School of the Year’ and ‘Best Facility’ by the American Association of Cosmetology Schools, and its Bloomington, IL campus was honored for 'Best Placement' for its success rate in helping graduates find jobs.
