California Governor Orders Salons to Shut Down in 30 Counties

As COVID-19 numbers continue to rise across the country, many states are either slowing down or rolling back their reopening phases. California's Governor Newsom announced today that indoor dining would close statewide, while gyms and salons in 30 counties throughout the state would also be required to close. 

In a tweet on Monday afternoon, Newsom said that COVID-19 cases are spreading at an alarming rate, and a number of operations must close their doors for the time being. He went on to share the counties that would require salon closures:
