DoorDash customers in the U.S. can now have thousands more beauty products delivered in about an hour, thanks to new partnerships with Sally Beauty and MAC Cosmetics and an expanded collab with Sephora.
The move comes as customers are increasingly demanding more “convenience and selection,” says Shanna Prevé, DoorDash’s VP of Partnerships. “We see consumers ordering from retail categories more than ever before.”
Sally Beauty and MAC Cosmetics stores are being added to DashPass, DoorDash’s membership program that offers $0 delivery fees, reduced service fees, and other benefits. As part of its new partnership with Sally Beauty, DoorDash is offering free delivery on all Sally Beauty purchases through May 31.
DoorDash, which started as a food delivery platform in San Francisco in 2013, has offered "beauty on demand" since 2021. It now counts more than 400K beauty and personal care products among its delivery offerings, thanks to ongoing partnerships with Sephora and other retailers including Ulta Beauty and Lush Cosmetics.
Its newly expanded agreement with Sephora allows the brand's Beauty Insider members to DoorDash their purchases from Sephora’s bi-annual, members-only sales.
