Beyoncé's Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund is awarding another round of five $10K business grants this fall to qualifying salon or barbershop owners who are based in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and New Jersey.
It will be the fourth of five rounds of grants awarded to beauty and grooming entrepreneurs this year as part of a total $500K commitment the superstar's charitable arm made for 2024. Applications for this round can be found here and the deadline is Sept. 20.
Grant criteria are:
- Operate within one of the five focus markets:
- Atlanta
- Chicago
- Houston
- Los Angeles
- New Jersey
- Demonstrated need due to hardship;
- Licensed cosmetologist for a minimum of 2 years;
- Lease agreement for floating salon station or lease agreement for salon or proof of ownership;
- Compelling impact statement: personal statement/ life impact story; and
- In business for a minimum of 1 year.
The recipients for this round of grants will be announced Oct. 20. The fifth and final round of business grants opens up Nov. 1, 2024.
